Television Announcing (TA-01)
Description: The television announcing course gives students practical experience in front of a television camera as a broadcast announcer. Emphasis is placed on announcing techniques, on visual appearance and on the basics of broadcast journalism. Video tapping sessions are collectively critiqued. The course includes supervised studio time for on camera performance with a teleprompter and the production of a video audition tape.

Television/Film Production (TFP-03)
Description: The Television/Film Production course augments the Television Announcing Course by offering a unique opportunity to learn how to use TV cameras and current editing software. Software includes, but is not limited to, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premier. The course provides additional credentials for students as they also improve their technical broadcasting skills by creating commercials, infomercials, trailers, and/or documentaries. All work is critiqued collectively. Class size is limited to six (6) students to ensure adequate mentorship. Students must be enrolled in or graduated from the Television Announcing Course, or have prior on-air or media experience. Students also must be registered in the course prior to the first class session.

Television Voice Over Course (TVVO-04)
Description: The Television Voice Over course provides students with training in voice acting for commercials and narrations. It provides students with practical exercises in various delivery modes including news, sports, and entertainment events, in addition to narration for television and radio shows. Class size is limited to four (4) students.
